Description

In a few words

The Charloise is primarily a producer of berries that has started processing fruit wine and products through the years. With grapes from our vineyard we produce 4 wines :

Le Blanc de Lemay : white wine

Le Rouge de Beaudet : red wine

Le rosé des Charlot : rosé wine

La Pointe à Platon : blackcurrant wine

Everything takes place in a delightful setting overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Lotbinière is one of most beautiful villages in Quebec. In our selection of fruits we have a blueberry field with more than 3000 plants which can be visited for self-picking. We also produce these fruits: blackcurrants, gooseberries, currants, blackberries and ground cherries. All these fruits are also offered in jams, jellies, confectionery, sauces, syrup and other derivatives.

For Real!

Arrêts Gourmands The know-how of our gourmet stops - La Charloise: for the love of wine and berries

In 1997, Charlotte Reason and Charles L’Écuyer decided to leave town for the fresh country air and bought land in Lotbinière. The following year, then inhabited by an immense passion, they engaged in fruit production and planted, until 2005, no less than 3000 blueberries, 1000 blackcurrants, 500 small fruit trees of currants and currants of same as 7000 vines.
